BHN has assumed operations of six substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs in Somerville, Brockton, Attleboro, Hyannis, Lawrence, and Haverhill MA. These centers continue to offer essential services including medication for opioid use disorder, counseling and case management to individuals currently in care and anyone in the surrounding communities seeking support for opioid use disorder. To mark this important milestone, BHN is hosting a series of Grand Opening Celebrations.

Attleboro Grand Opening: A Celebration of Hope and Healing

The first of these celebrations took place on Friday, May 9th in Attleboro, where BHN officially welcomed the community to its newest SUD treatment center. The event brought together Attleboro Mayor Cathleen DeSimone, State Representatives Adam Scanlon and Jim Hawkins, funders, local partners, BHN employees and clients for a day centered on recovery, collaboration, and commitment to care. Guests toured the facility, connected with the team behind the program, and heard powerful remarks from both BHN leadership and public officials.

“We are proud to open this program in Attleboro and expand access to high-quality substance use treatment in the region,” said Tony Boswell, Senior Vice President, Addiction & Recovery Services and Developmental Services at BHN. “This facility represents BHN’s commitment to delivering care that is grounded in dignity, respect, and community partnership. We believe recovery is possible for everyone, and this site will help make that a reality for many.”
