Clinical Stabilization is the next step for many people leaving Acute Treatment Services (ATS) and needing time to stabilize from the physical and psychological impacts of active addiction or substance use. CSS is also an important option for individuals wanting to stop using substances that don’t cause physical withdrawal where they need a supportive, therapeutic environment.
Identify Skills, Strengths and Resources
Through individual and group counseling, CSS staff empower individuals through a personalized treatment plan to identify needs, strengths, and resources and learn the value of focusing on their capacity to recover, not only on what is challenging.
What Will the Program Look Like?
Individuals work with BHN counselors to develop a treatment plan and will be offered individual and group counseling, 12-step based programs, gender-specific groups, relapse prevention skills, and recovery planning. Aftercare planning helps to decide next steps in the recovery process.
