JOB TITLE: Detoxification Counselor

PROGRAM: Carlson Recovery Center

LOCATION: Springfield

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

SCHEDULED HOURS: 40 hours

SCHEDULE / SHIFT: Sunday-Thursday, variable hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Counseling position in the detoxification program at Carlson Recovery Center responsible for providing case management activities for a variable sized case load. Duties include group and individual counseling, development of individualized assessments and treatment planning, aftercare coordination, and the ability to function on a multi-disciplinary team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must be familiar with working with individuals who have co-morbid mental health and substance use disorders.
• Bachelors degree in a related field with at least 1 year of experience, must have competent computer skills.
